We have purchased pastry , take away from this outlet of TWG ( TWG @ Taipei 101 building). The cakes were nice. With the nice experience of cake tasting from the previous day, we have hereby came back to this outlet to have some teatime the next day. And it was one of the worst experiences ever. When we first arrived, a staff asked us to be in queued by scan a QR code and then she told us to wait about 40-50 mins to be seated. We have walked around the mall and came back after less than 30 minutes. The same staff informed us that our table is given to someone else as they called us on phone but we didn’t pick up. Eventhough there wasn’t any call , however we were tired and decided to make another reservation. We were again in queue, after 1 group only. Many groups have left during we waited right outside. The group before us in the queue also was seated and many tables were available but the staff kept telling us to wait and she even said don’t know till when. Hardly any of them, working for an English brand tearoom in a capital, at a tourist place, can communicate with customers in english - in a basic understanding. Many other Japanese guests also suspected it was the same reasons why foreigners who don’t speak their language are forever in queue regardless the availability of the shop. TWG should have trained their staffs better, taking into consideration the ranking they claimed for themselves. FYI: the availability is clearly shown in the photo.

I chose this place for an afternoon tea outing, and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was delightful, offering a wide range of tea options to suit every taste, accompanied by equally delightful desserts. The service was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience

Wonderful experience with TWG Taiwan .. Simply love it. It's a rainy day and I was dying for some proper hot tea. Glad to have my favourite Jasmine Queen. My kid enjoyed his simple club sandwich with salad. Our favourite truffle sandwiches came warm with the crisp toast. The pot of tea was huge and good enough for a meal per person. I felt so comfortable through the whole meal service. Excellent professional service rendered. Thank you so much. Definitely will be back again.

Went here for the afternoon tea and the experience was amazing. The staffs are helpful, the snacks are very well prepared. Bought 1837 sets with choco mint tea, but I’m actually like the Valentine’s tea (it’s strawberry black tea). You can also see the tea barista blend the tea here. But we sit by the glass and everyone was looking at us 👀 but overall experience was great!

We came here for the high tea and to rest our tired feet after walking so many places around Taipei. Upon entering this place, we felt that there's sandalwood essential oil(maybe it's tea scented candle)defused in the background, it's very soothing. The tea selections' overwhelming. Luckily, our server was a tea connoisseur, he gave us some basic guidelines, so we got the tea we like. For the price tag, the food was average. The black truffle sandwiches was mostly button mushroom paste. If you tried really really , really hard, you get the hint of black truffle. The cakes were very pretty and not too sweet. The servers were informative, however, I would suggest they fine-tune the training towards customer services. After all, who would like to be served by a baron or baroness. Less attitude more smile would be appreciated.

This experience was amazing! Please don't be put off by the high prices (at least relative to most of Taipei). The tea is fantastic, though there is not much help in the case you aren't familiar with TWG teas, as the Tea list is MASSIVE (but it is very hard to go wrong)!!!!! The food is delicious. I got the Truffle Mushroom Linguini and the Teatime 1837 Tea set (tea, muffins, and macarons). The linguini was amazing by any standards, even more so a tea place's. The muffins and jelly were perfect and the macarons magical. If you enjoy some good tea, this place is worth it!

Had high expectations to try out TWG high tea for the first time and it did not disappoint. A lot of macaron’s flavours were sold out unfortunately when we visited. Had their earl grey gentleman and signature 1837 tea - both nice.
